Union Minister Smt. Uma Bharti inspects Malthoun’s ancient water source

Make every water source useful: WRD Minister Dr. Mishra
Bhopal: Union Water Resources Minister Smt. Uma Bharti today inspected an ancient water source at Malthoun in Sagar district. The Union Minister said that scientific research related to water source would be conducted. She said that the central government has initiated the conservation of such ancient water source. For this purpose there will be no need for state’s contribution. The scheme of water source conservation can be implemented with the support of the local administration.
On the occasion State’s Water Resources Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said that every water source should be made useful. Officials from the Department of Water Resources also inspected the ancient water source at the Mahakali temple premises in Malthoun.
Union Minister Smt. Uma Bharti, Water Resources and Public Relations Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra and Home Minister Bhupendra Singh also performed puja-archana at Mahakali temple. Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Minister Dharampal Singh was also present.-WTN
