Home Minister reviews law and order arrangements in Burhanpur
Bhopal 03 September 2021: Reviewing law and order system Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra lauded the team spirit behind the work being done in Burhanpur. Dr. Mishra was reviewing the meeting at the Police Control Room at Kotwali police station in Burhanpur.
Home Minister Dr. Mishra directed the officers in the meeting not to spare criminals at any cost. He told them to ensure speedy investigation and punishment to the culprits at the earliest. He said that it is very important to bring down the graph of crimes against women, there should be no laxity in this. Dr. Mishra while discussing the FIR- Aapke Dwar and e-FIR gave instructions to improve its implementation in the district.
In the review meeting, Superintendent of Police Rahul Kumar Lodha apprised about the actions taken and various arrangements regarding law and order in the district. He gave detailed information about the criminal cases against women, NSA cases, criminal cases on ST/SC and other identified crimes as well as the actions taken against illegal liquor mafia in the district.
Among those present on the occasion were former minister Archana Chitnis, MLA Burhanpur Thakur Surendra Singh, MLA Nepanagar Sumitra Devi Kasdaikar, Inspector General of Police Harinarayanchari Mishra, Deputy Inspector General of Police Tilak Singh and other public representatives and police officers.
Dr. Mishra offers floral tributes at Atal Memorial Site
Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra paid floral tributes at the Atal Memorial Site built in memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Burhanpur. Former minister Archana Chitnis and other public representatives were present with him on this occasion.
