Consumer satisfaction is our goal: Energy Minister Tomar
Woes of power consumers resolved in Jan Chaupal
 
Bhopal 03 September 2021; Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar took stock of power arrangements during his stay in Tikamgarh district today. He listened to power related grievances of the people at the Jan Choupal programme held at Power House premises, Tikamgarh. He said that the officers should maintain registers in the district and divisional offices, in which the satisfaction level of the consumers as regards the complaints should also be recorded. The CR of officers, engineers and employees will be made on this basis, because customer satisfaction is our goal.

In the Jan-Choupal programme, Minister Tomar said that this government is the government of the people and for the people. We are public servants and will work in the interest of the people. He said that farmers have to pay 8 paise for a bill of Re one, the rest is borne by the Madhya Pradesh government. He also assured that the electricity department will not be privatized. He said that the satisfaction of the consumer should be the aim of the company.

Tomar said that today I have come to the Jan-Choupal to listen to the woes of the people. He said that after three months I will come again to take stock of the arrangements. He said that I hope that this will yield good results. He said that the officials should strictly follow it so that the beneficiaries do not face any problem. Strict action will be taken against erring officers and employees.

Energy Minister Tomar personally took the applications from all the consumers present at the Jan-Choupal and listened to their grievances following which he instructed the officials to redress their issues immediately. He told them to ensure prompt maintenance of power transformers and repair of hanging power cables.

Junior Engineer Manvendra Singh Mavai, Jitendra Prajapati Tikamgarh Town, Amit Chauhan Khargapur, Helper Anil Sharma Tikamgarh Circle and Lineman Kadauri Kushwaha were felicitated for their good performance by Minister Tomar.
