Readers’ Place are Important In News Papers

PR Minister Dr. Mishra Participates in Deliberations  

Bhopal: Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra participated in deliberations on subject ‘Samachaar –Patron Mein Pathakon Ka Sthan’ organised by Bhopal Journalist Association at Bhopal today.

Dr. Mishra was greeted for the decisions taken by the state government towards the welfare of the journalists. Chief Guest Dr. Mishra said that the state government has given their rights taking decisions for journalists’ welfare. He mentioned that this deliberations organised by the Bhopal Journalist Association is prevalent as several columns are now limited as per the liking of readers.

Importance of columns of news papers and magazine will remain continue despite use of new communication sources. Therefore, the role of readers will not decline. Dr. Mishra mentioned that necessary steps will be taken on suggestions given by the association after deliberations.

Senior Journalist and Vice President of Madhya Pradesh Rashtriya Ekta Samiti Mahesh Shrivastava said that journalism is going through such a state that ‘Jaan Nikli Hai, Magar Saans Abhi Baqi Hai’ meaning life element of journalism is declined but it still remains. Changes have come with time. Readers are spine of the news paper. Senior Journalist Umesh Trivedi mentioned that readers have important place in news paper. Renowned Editor Rajendra Mathur has kept more space secured for readers’ views in the news paper. He termed the Public Relations Minister Dr. Mishra as handsome personality. Aleem Bazmi also address the deliberations.

In the beginning, President of the Association Satish Saxena stated that Madhya Pradesh has played an active role in solving problems of journalists. Pankaj Shukla conducted the programme. General Secretary of the Association Sanjay Saxena, Premnarayan Premi, Anand Saxena, Radheshyam Somani and others were present on the occasion.-WTN
