Governor Patel extends greetings on Teachers’ Day

Bhopal 04 September 2021: Governor Mangubhai Patel has greeted and extended best wishes to all teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. He appreciated their efforts to keep the education system smooth and for their dedication towards social responsibilities during the Covid period.
Governor Mangubhai Patel in his congratulatory message said that the place of Guru has always been highest in Indian culture. This is the glorious identity of Indian culture. Our teachers have a major role in imparting knowledge and skills from generation to generation. In view of their contribution to the nation’s prosperity, Teachers’ Day is celebrated as a mark of respect to them all over the country.
Patel appreciated the work done by the state government for the expansion and quality of education, establishment of girls’ hostels, self-defense training programmes and the various online training arrangements made under the C.M. Rise programme on the basis of self assessment in the Covid period. He said that teachers of Madhya Pradesh have made a major contribution in maintaining the continuity of children’s education even during the adverse circumstances of Covid period through Hamara Ghar-Hamara Vidyalaya, Mohalla Classes, door-to-door contact, Doordarshan, Radio and DigiLep, WhatsApp Groups and while fulfilling their social responsibilities, they have also contributed in Corona service. Despite the fact that they lost their loved ones or their families suffered and many teachers were also affected by Covid, still they remained firm on their duties.
The Governor while lauding teachers for their dutifulness and spirit of service, saluted the teachers. He extended his best wishes and congratulated all teachers of the state for their exemplary contribution and wished them a happy and prosperous life – Window to News
