Public representatives of Indore discuss development project with Chief Minister
Bhopal 08 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every effort should be made to make proposed krishi mandi in Indore a smart mandi of Asia. He directed that shifting and construction work of the mandi should be completed at the earliest after discussing with the mandi traders. The Chief Minister said that a presentation should be made soon in Bhopal regarding construction of the proposed Smart Krishi Mandi.
Chief Minister Chouhan was discussing with public representatives at the airport during his short stay in Indore today. Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani discussed about the proposed construction of Asia's fully equipped Smart Krishi Mandi in Indore district. He said that an action plan is being prepared to shift the Cantonment Krishi Upaj Mandi of the district to about 100 acres of land in Kailod village near the bypass. During this, MLAs Akash Vijayvargiya, Gaurav Ranadive, Sudarshan Gupta and public representatives were also present.
Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani also discussed with Chief Minister Chouhan about allotment of 12.875 hectare army land adjoining Polo Ground Road of village Bhagirathpura tehsil Malharganj for the development works of the district and public use of general public. He said that in lieu of the said land, a proposal has been sent to the government to give 12.875 hectares of land behind BSF shooting range in village Revati of Malharganj tehsil by the district administration as army land.
