Bhopal 08 September 2021: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, top priority is being given to expand health services in the state and make them accessible to the common man. Work is being done fast on the availability of necessary infrastructure in health institutions. 190 Oxygen Plants are being installed in District Hospitals, Civil Hospitals and Community Health Centres. Of these, 88 oxygen plants have become functional so far. The rest will be made functional by the end of this month.
Health Minister Dr. Choudhary said that through the "Manch" project, information about serious and critical cases can be registered on the RCH portal. Based on this information, the health of mother and child can be monitored. They can be given better treatment. Health Minister Dr. Choudhary has said that the implementation of the project will improve maternal, newborn and child health in Shahdol district. Maternal mortality and infant mortality rates will come down. He said that special attention was being paid to the health of mother and children in the state. The government is committed to provide better health services to the common people. The government has included private hospitals in the Ayushman scheme and there is an eligibility to get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in this scheme. Health Minister Dr. Choudhary also handed over the kits to the ANMs under the project to the ANMs of Shahdol district. Dr. Pankaj Shukla, Dr. Shaji Izak and Dr. Archana Mishra also addressed the inaugural programme.
