Bargi canals water will reach this area by 2023
Bhopal 12 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that most of the dreams that Late Jugul Kishore Bagri, MLA of Raigaon area, saw for the development of the area have come true. I have come in your midst to complete the work that was left incomplete by him. The economy of the state is not very good due to Corona crisis that struck twice. Even if the government has to borrow, I will not let there be lack of funds for development works. The water of Bargi canal's will reach this area by the year 2023. He said that wheat worth Rs 300 crore and paddy worth Rs 150 crore have been purchased from the farmers of Raigaon area on support price.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a public meeting after launching the Jan Darshan programme from Shivrajpur village of Raigaon assembly constituency in Satna district. Chief Minister Chouhan, while participating in the Jan Darshan programme in 10 villages including Shivrajpur, interacted with the general public and also inquired about the implementation of the development schemes of the government.
Many gifts including power sub-station given
Chief Minister Chouhan said that soon the construction of power sub-station will start in Shivrajpur. The Chief Minister announced for providing Bargi canal's water, construction of roads from Duari village to Rara, construction of building at a cost of Rs 18 crore for the opening of CM Rise Higher Secondary School in Shivrajpur, restoration of two ponds, Chitra and Mudhara of the village and expansion and construction of Haat-bazaar in Shivrajpur by 2023. Chief Minister Chouhan gave instructions to the departmental officers to complete the work of drinking water scheme under construction from Jal Jeevan Mission in Shivrajpur by March 31, 2022.
Corona is not gone yet, remain alert and get vaccinated
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the crisis of Corona is not completely over yet. Precautions must be continuously taken to protect from Corona. Everyone must get Corona vaccine. In Satna district, at least the first dose of the vaccine must be administered to every person above the age of 18 by September 30. Collectors should run a special campaign for this. Free food grains must be distributed to every eligible poor family of the district through Anna Utsav. The Chief Minister said that the government has decided to constitute the Commission for General Category. Various schemes will be made for the welfare of the general category.
Many schemes being run for poor section
Chief Minister Chouhan said that many schemes are being run for the poor. Free food grains will be given to every poor till the month of November. Anna Utsav must be celebrated on the 7th of every month during which food grains must be distributed to the poor. Under the Ayushman treatment scheme, every poor gets free treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh every year in the identified hospitals. Camps should be organized to prepare Ayushman cards for the remaining poor. Every year 8 lakh houses are being built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. By 2023, every homeless person and those who have kuccha houses will get pucca housing facility in the state. In the function, the Chief Minister distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Sambal Yojana.
At the outset, Kanya Pujan was performed by Chief Minister Chouhan. He also offered prayers to Lord Shiva after reaching the Dahlan Dham Shiva temple. Welcoming the Chief Minister, MP Ganesh Singh informed him about the major demands of the people of the area and the development works being undertaken by the government in the area. Forest Minister and Minister in charge of Satna district Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Mineral Minister Brijendra Pratap Singh, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Ramkhelwan Patel along with MLAs, public representatives, officers and citizens were also present. – Window to News
