Every poor will have his own pucca house in state: CM Chouhan

Bhopal 14 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every poor in the state will have his own pucca house. The names of eligible beneficiaries will be added after surveying the poor left in the survey list of 2011 and they will be given an amount of Rs one lakh 20 thousand for construction of houses. Chief Minister Chouhan said that this year 8 lakh houses and next year again 8 lakh houses will be built. It will be our endeavor that no poor should remain without a house.

The Chief Minister was addressing the inaugural ceremony of Jandarshan programme at Mohangarh in Tikamgarh district today. Chief Minister Chouhan also performed bhoomi-pujan and inaugurated development and construction works worth Rs.43 crore.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that CM Rise Schools would be opened in every 20-25 km area of ​​the state. It will have all facilities including library and laboratory. He said that 300 schools would be opened in the state this year. Again 300 schools will be opened in the next session. Chief Minister Chouhan said that our government is a government of all sections. We are working for all sections of the society without any distinction between general, backward class, scheduled caste and tribe.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that every poor should get food, so the government has decided to provide wheat, rice and salt to them at Rs. 1 per kg. Also, the Prime Minister has decided to give free ration till November, which is being given to the needy.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that giving food to the poor is the first priority of the government. He instructed the collector that names should be added after conducting a survey of the families who were deprived of the eligibility slip. Government coffers are open for the poor. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Corona has taught us that it is very important to have arrangements for treatment, so Ayushman cards are being made under the Prime Minister’s Ayushman Bharat Yojana. The government has decided that free treatment will be provided in the Ayushman Yojana in government hospital. Also, those identified private hospitals which come under the scheme, will also get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.

Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Chouhan said that Ken-Betwa link project has been approved. Its work will be started soon. In this, lakhs of hectares of agricultural land will be irrigated in Tikamgarh district. Arrangements will be made so that the hardworking farmers of Tikamgarh district can produce more crops. He said that there was problem of drinking water in the villages like Hatheri, Panchampura, Kunjpura etc. of Mohangarh. Now we have decided that all villages will be freed of hand pumps.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Prime Minister is working with the spirit of a Sevak. No stone will be left unturned in the development of the state. I have come amidst you all with the resolve that the public welfare campaign will be launched again, to change the scenario of the area and the fate of the people. Our government will leave no stone unturned for the welfare of the people. He said that about two thousand farmers of this area are left out of the Pradhan Mantri-Mukhya Mantri Samman Nidhi, within a week the amount will be deposited in their accounts by adding their names.

Nishadraj Bhawan will be built in Mohangarh

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Nishadraj Bhawan would be constructed in Mohangarh. Mohangarh Primary Health Center will be upgraded into a 30 bedded hospital, so that treatment of people of Mohangarh and nearby areas is possible. He said that he has decided to rebuild the Harpura Irrigation Project canal, which will also fill the Chandeli ponds. The campaign to fill these ponds will be carried out again. The Harpura canal will be reconstructed with Rs.11 crore 41 lakh, through which water will be supplied to the villages of the area. On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed benefits worth more than Rs.32 crore to the beneficiaries under various public welfare schemes.

Public Works, Cottage and Village Industries Minister Gopal Bhargava said that Tikamgarh district was earlier considered very backward. The efforts of our government have changed the picture of the area. Today development and progress is visible in every village of Mohangarh area of ​​Tikamgarh district. There are concrete roads, bridges and culverts around the area and adequate electricity is available. Bhargava said that Bundelkhand is in a respectable position today. I am proud to say that now development is visible everywhere. He is happy that the people here are becoming self-sufficient and prosperous with government assistance.
