Goal of Covid vaccination -100 percent of first dose
Bhopal 22 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that vaccination mega campaign would be launched again in the state on September 27. In this campaign, first dose of Covid-19 vaccine will be administered to those eligible persons of the state in particular, who have not got the vaccine yet. It will be ensured that 100 percent eligible people of the state get the first dose of the vaccine. Like the previous campaigns, public participation will be ensured in this campaign to achieve the goal.
Discussion with members of Crisis Management
In this connection, Chief Minister Chouhan will address the members of district, block, ward and village level Crisis Management Committees on Thursday at 2.30 pm. Chief Minister Chouhan said that our aim is to save the people of the state from Corona infection. Vaccine is an effective solution for this. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a virtuous job by making the vaccine available free of cost. Now it is our collective responsibility to ensure that all the eligible people get the vaccine administered compulsorily. He said that public participation cannot be denied in the achievements made in vaccination so far. The District, Block, Ward and Village level Crisis Management Committees have also made the previous two vaccination campaigns a success through active participation. Chief Minister Chouhan said that even in the third vaccination campaign, success will definitely be achieved with the participation of Crisis Management Committees and social organizations.
So far, more than 5.91 crore doses of vaccine have been administered in the state
The Covid-19 vaccination month in the state is going on continuously since January 2021. So far, more than 5 crore 91 lakh vaccine doses have been administered in the state. Out of this, the first dose of vaccine has been administered to 4 crore 59 lakh 49 thousand 20 citizens and the second dose of vaccine has been administered to 1 crore 31 lakh 72 thousand 210 citizens.
Appeal for cooperation from all sections
Chief Minister Chouhan has appealed to all sections to come forward with self-motivation for the protection of human life and ensure their participation in the Maha Abhiyan. Chief Minister Chouhan has appealed to the members of the Council of Ministers, MPs, MLAs, public representatives of urban and rural areas, heads of various social organizations, religious leaders, media representatives, litterateurs, intellectuals and dignitaries to urge the public in their respective areas to get vaccinated so that the objectives of the campaign could be achieved – Window to News
