Bhopal 24 September 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Panna district is important and wonderful from the religious point of view. It will be included in the leading districts of the state by linking it with tourism and employment. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a public meeting in the premises of Government Polytechnic College, Panna in the Jan Kalyan and Suraaj Abhiyan.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Chouhan gifted 38 works worth Rs 119 crore 83 lakh 66 thousand to the districts of Sagar division in the field of health services. He laid the foundation for upgradation and development works of Primary Health Centers and Sub Health Centers, performed bhoomi-pujan and dedicated them.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Agriculture College approved earlier for Panna would be started. Employment opportunities will be made available to the people of the district through Panna Tiger Reserve Park. He expressed happiness that CT Scan Machine is being dedicated for Panna district hospital. There will be no shortage of health services in the district. The capacity of the district hospital will be increased from 200 to 300 beds.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that in view of the glorious history of temples in Panna, a ‘Temple Walk’ would be constructed here, so that the tourists who come to Khajuraho can also visit the temples at Panna. This will increase employment opportunities in the area. Chouhan said that an airstrip would be built in the district. The Chief Minister also announced to include villages of the district in the home-stay scheme. He said that the process of setting up Diamond Park in Panna district, which is famous for diamonds, has also started. Chouhan also assured to open new trade and engineering colleges related to business in Government Polytechnic College. He said that a gooseberry (Amla) based processing center would be set up in Panna selected for gooseberry under Ek Zila Ek Utpad. The work of Hanuman Bhata-Powai road will also begin soon.
Chief Minister Chouhan directed the Collector to ensure that vaccine is administered to 2000 people who are remaining in the district for Corona vaccination. It was also instructed that no eligible person should be deprived of Ayushman card. Chief Minister Chouhan asked the Divisional Commissioner and Collector to include all the eligible beneficiaries in it after taking information about the Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana etc. He said that those who committed irregularities in the ration meant for the poor will be handcuffed. Chouhan directed that 150 families of Bengali community without residential land in the district should be provided with pattas immediately. He said that no poor would be allowed to remain without residential land. Every poor person will be given a patta to live in. Those who do not have pattas will be given plots. For such poor people who have pattas, houses will be constructed in a phased manner. CM Rise School will be opened in different phases in the state. 159 CM Rise Schools will open in Panna district in 3 phases. He said that the work of making nutritious food would be taken from the contractors and entrusted to women self-help groups. He directed that women’s self-help groups should also be entrusted with the task of sewing uniforms of students. He also directed to include the names of eligible beneficiaries who have been left out in the Mukhya Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, after conducting a survey.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that irrigation and drinking water schemes will be completed soon in the district. In the next three years, water will be supplied in every house through pipelines. It will be ensured that drinking water is supplied daily. He also directed to run a campaign to resolve the pending cases of revenue in the district.
Dedication and bhoomi-pujan
Chief Minister Chouhan laid foundation stone, performed bhoomi-pujan and digitally dedicated 38 works worth Rs. 119 crore 83 lakh 66 thousand in the field of health in Sagar division. These works include upgradation of Niwari district hospital from 60 to 100 beds at a cost of 10 crores, 200 to 300 bedded building upgradation and construction work in Tikamgarh district hospital at a cost of Rs 20 crores, uprgadation and construction of 30- bedded community health centres to 50 bedded Cvil Hospital in Bada Malhara of Chhatarpur district, Pawai of Panna district, Banda Rahatgarh of Sagar District, at a cost of Rs 40 crores.
Chief Minister Chouhan laid the foundation stone for upgradation of 6 bedded primary health centers in Maharajpur, Matguwan in Chhatarpur district, Bamhorikala and Lidhaura in Tikamgarh district to 30 bedded community health centers at a cost of Rs 22 crore 95 lakhs, upgradation and construction of 6-bedded primary health centres at Siloundha, Khairana, Jhila, Chitaura in Sagar district, Sarangpur in Panna district, Luhari in Damoh district, Bamhori, Thakurra in Chhatarpur district, Kakarwada in Tikamgarh district and Madiya in Niwari district at a cost of Rs 18 crore 47 lakhs and laid oundation and performed bhoomi-pujan of construction works of Padariya, Tinsua, Puttarra and Patan sub health centres in Sagar district, Bahadurganj, Nachne in Panna distrct, Chilod, Borda in Damoh district, Jujharpura, Barakhera, Luharpura in Chhatarpur district, Talmau, Uprara in Tikamgarh district and Januali in Niwari district at a cost of Rs 5 crore 93 lakh 22 thousand. The Chief Minister also digitally dedicated oxygen plant costing Rs 2 crore 48 lakh at District Hospital Chhatarpur, Civil Hospital Huta and Community Health Center Ajaygarh in Panna district and District Hospital Sagar.
Highlighting the historical importance of Panna, Minister Brijendra Pratap Singh urged to connect the area with employment and tourism. Health Minister Prabhuram Choudhary said that Panna has got the privilege of starting development works in various districts of Sagar division. Madhya Pradesh has topped in administering first dose of Covid vaccine. He told that 2 crore 54 lakh Ayushman cards have been made. MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma said that Panna district will no longer remain backward. He told that people from all over the world want to come here because of diamonds. Panna will not be allowed to lag behind in any field like education, health, tourism etc. Efforts are being made to connect Panna with tourism through Khajuraho. The work of Sakaria airstrip has also been completed. The drinking water and irrigation problem of the district is also being addressed. Many public representatives including MLA Prahlad Lodhi, Shivdayal Bagri were present.
At the outset, Chief Minister Chouhan performed kanya-pujan. Minister Ramkishore Kavre ‘Nano’ gave the welcome address. The women of the self-help groups presented items made from gooseberries (Amla) to the guests.
