Bhopal 22 October 2021: Governor Mangubhai Patel said that it is the responsibility of the universities to educate students on self-reliance and culture. A work culture that recognizes innovation and adaptation should be created. Compliance and practical implementation should be visible in the university. He said that youth should become self-dependent, set up their own enterprise, as well as give employment to others.
Governor Patel was addressing the convocation ceremony of SAGE University in Indore. State Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission Dr. Bharat Sharan Singh and the Chancellor of SAGE University, Eng. Sanjeev Agarwal were especially present on the occasion. In the programme, Governor Patel presented gold medals and titles to the students On this occasion, he conferred the honorary degree of D. Litt to renowned scientist Dr. Sudhir Mishra and Jaynarayan Choukse, who worked in the field of expansion of education.
Governor Patel said that at a time when the world is changing rapidly, it is necessary that the youth are sensitive to the changes happening all over the world. For this it is necessary that the youth get enriched in knowledge every day. He said that youth will have to work every day with a goal. He said that the youth should contribute to the development and welfare of the nation, society by utilizing their education in the welfare of the underprivileged. The country is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The new National Education Policy has given an opportunity to the youth to touch soar high. Madhya Pradesh is first in the country in implementing the new National Education Policy. A huge achievement has been made in the field of vaccination against Corona in the country. More than one hundred crore people in the country have been vaccinated against Corona. Madhya Pradesh also has an important role in this.
Record work has been done in the field of vaccination in Madhya Pradesh. Governor Patel said that we have an estimated incomparable strength of more than one hundred and thirty crore human resources. We have more than 17 percent of the world’s human resources about 65 percent of which lives in rural areas. To convert this power into economic power, increase employment opportunities and inclusive economic growth, it is necessary to invest in efficiency. The rural economy should be made knowledge and skill based. Focus should be on Digital India and Startup Rural Economy.
Addressing the programme, Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that youth have an important role to play in overcoming the problems of the society. Convocation ceremony is very important in student life. On this day a student completes his academic life and starts a new life. He asked the youth to contribute in eradicating the evils of the society and freeing it of problems with their learning and ability. He asked the youth to set new standards of life values.
Addressing the programme, Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, Dr. Bharat Sharan said that there should be universal spread of education, service and culture in the society. The youth have to become self-reliant. At the outset, the founder Sanjeev Agarwal delivered the welcome address. Vice Chancellor Dr. Ankur Arun Kulkarni gave details about the activities of the University – Window to News
