Launched cleanliness campaign by sweeping up himself
Cleanliness campaign organised at Raj Bhavan on State Foundation Day
Bhopal 01 November 2021: On the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day, Governor Mangubhai Patel, with presenting the ideal of inspiring by effort, launched the cleanliness campaign at Raj Bhavan. Governor Patel reached the police barrack located in the Raj Bhavan complex today. There he himself took up the task of cleaning the courtyard with a broom along with the officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan.
Governor Patel said that cleanliness is not a one day task. For clean surroundings, 365 days of work is necessary. Cleanliness is everyone's responsibility. Everyone's cooperation and efforts are the basis of cleanliness. On the inspiration of Patel, Principal Secretary of Raj Bhavan along with the officers and employees participated in the cleanliness drive. Also helped in cleaning the police barrack premises by picking up garbage.
Inauguration of newly expanded section
Governor Patel also inaugurated the newly expanded section of the first floor of Raj Bhavan Secretariat today. He gave necessary directions after inspecting various branches of officers, meeting arrangements of the employees of the Secretariat, record rooms etc. He said that cleanliness is a personal responsibility. A clean environment can be created only by doing work.
