Cleanliness an integral part of life, not just a campaign in the country under PM Modi’s leadership: CM Chouhan

Bhopal  20 November 2021:  Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that I am proud and happy to inform that Madhya Pradesh has realized the dream and resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This year Madhya Pradesh has received total 38 awards in the Swachchhata Sarvekshan 2021 Award. Last year, the state had received 27 awards. The state received 21 awards in the main programme held in New Delhi today. Chief Minister Chouhan saluted the residents of Indore and congratulated them. It may be noted that Indore ranks first in the country in cleanliness for the fifth time in a row.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Indore is also on the first place in the Safai Mitra Suraksha Challenge. Bhopal and Dewas have also received the award. Apart from Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Pachmarhi Camp, Hoshangabad, Dewas and Barwaha have also received awards in Cleanliness Survey. In Garbage Free City category, Ujjain, Gwalior, Dewas, Singrauli, Mundi, Burhanpur, Rajgarh, Dhar and capital Bhopal apart from Indore have received awards. Madhya Pradesh has been made proud with cleanliness awards being bagged by its cities. Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated all the residents, public representatives and local administration.

President’s words of blessings will give impetus to cleanliness efforts

Chief Minister Chouhan has tweeted that – ‘The words of blessings and guidance of President Ram Nath Kovind will give boost the efforts of cleanliness not only in Madhya Pradesh, but in the entire country.

Cleanliness campaign has become an integral part of life

Chief Minister Chouhan, while thanking the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this achievement of the state, tweeted that – “Cleanliness has become an integral part of life, and is not just a campaign or programme in the country under the able leadership of our great Prime Minister Modi. I express my gratitude to the Prime Minister on behalf of eight and a half crore people of Madhya Pradesh for receiving 38 awards.
Congratulating the state’s Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh for this achievement, Chief Minister Chouhan tweeted that- “My heart is full of joy, this is Indore which is consistently ranking number one on various standards of cleanliness. This is the result of the will power of the people of Indore, who are determined to keep their city as clean as their homes.”
