Took stock of the construction works of Girls College
Bhopal 21 November 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that it is our endeavour that Vidisha along with being an ideal district should also make its mark as an education hub. He said that he would visit the districts continuously to speed up the development and construction works in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan on Sunday took stock of the works of Science Block rooms and girls hostel under construction at a cost of about eight and a half crore rupees in Government Girls College in Vidisha.
Chief Minister Chouhan directed the officials of construction agencies to complete all the construction works by March 2022. He said that the works have been delayed due to Corona. But the pace of work in Vidisha is satisfactory. Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is already an engineering college in Vidisha, apart from the medical college, new institutes are being built continuously in other courses. He said that if Vidisha is recognised as an education hub, the government will extend all help in this direction.
Chief Minister Chouhan directed to make material lab at the construction site to make the quality of construction works excellent. He directed the collector to continuously monitor the construction work to ensure quality. BDA CEO Budhesh Vaidya briefed the Chief Minister about the construction works.
Rudraksh sapling planted
Chief Minister Chouhan also planted a Rudraksha sapling in the garden premises of the Shaskiya Kanya Agrani Mahavidyalaya. MLA Umakant Sharma, Leena Jain, Rajshree Singh and District Panchayat President Toran Singh Dangi along with the officials were present.
Worshipped at Badh Wale Ganesh Mandir
Chief Minister Chouhan along with his wife Sadhna Singh Chouhan offered prayers at Badh Wale Ganesh Mandir situated on the banks of river Betwa. Chief Minister Chouhan also performed Bhoomi-Poojan for the expansion works of the temple. He directed that due to the under construction bridge near the temple, there should not be any kind of obstruction in the movement of devotees coming to the temple – Window to News
