Houses of the poor will be built on the lands that have been freed from the possession of land mafia

Bhopal 25 December 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that "Indore is the city of my dreams, I will never let its pride diminish. I promise to all the residents of Indore that no obstacle will come in the way of development of this city. Not only in the state but in the whole country, it has raised its flag in the field of cleanliness. Indore city, which has topped the cleanliness survey for five consecutive times, will now definitely hit sixer of cleanliness. It is the result of dedication and discipline of the people of Indore that Indore is not only ahead in cleanliness but also in sex ratio at birth. Indore has again made us all proud by being an example of respect for daughters. I bow to the people of Indore for their dedication and service."

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the bhumi-poojan programme of development works of the Municipal Corporation on Khandwa Road in Indore today. Chief Minister Chouhan performed bhumi-pujan and dedicated the construction of Khandwa road, construction of houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna and various other development works being done by the Municipal Corporation. Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Tourism and Culture Minister Sushri Usha Thakur, Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani, MLAs and public representatives and officials were present.

Road being built from Tantya Mama Chauraha to Tejaji Nagar will now be named after Late Atal ji

Chief Minister Chouhan while performing bhumi-poojan for the construction of 6 lane cement-concrete road in the road expansion from Tantya Mama Chauraha to Tejaji Nagar (Underpass) said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, a strong network of roads in the country is being laid, which is benefitting Madhya Pradesh and Indore as well. The work of widening Khandwa road was stuck for a long time, the work of this road was started as soon as our government came. Indore Municipal Corporation has been sanctioned Rs 53 crore 73 lakh for the expansion of roads. After the expansion of the road, its length will be 6.50 lakh kilometers and width will be 31.70 meters. He said that he bows to the most revered Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the famous writer, poet, skilled leader, charming orator, the former Prime Minister of the country, who raised India's honour and self-respect in the world, on his birthday and we dedicate this road being built from Tantya Mama Chauraha to Tejaji Nagar to his name.
  
Scheme No-140 will now be known as Late Kushabhau Thakre

Chief Minister Chouhan announced that scheme number-140 of Indore Development Authority will now be known as Late Kushabhau Thakre. He said that the work of widening the RTO road from Palda in Rau assembly constituency would also be started soon. Giving the gifts of development to Indore city, the Chief Minister made another announcement that the college established in Rau assembly constituency would be upgraded from graduation to post-graduation from the next session. Here now post graduation classes for Science, Commerce and Arts will be started. A survey will be conducted to build a metro station on Khandwa Road and if the feasibility is found, the proposal will be taken forward immediately.

Indore has also emerged as an example in the country in respecting daughters

Chief Minister Chouhan said that when Ladli Laxmi Yojana was launched in the state, the sex ratio at birth in the state was 914, which has now increased to 956 according to National Family Health Survey-5 and in this category also Indore district is ahead of all. Indore has established many pillars of fame in the country, Indore has emerged as an example in the country in respecting daughters.

No poor will live without housing

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna by Chief Minister Chouhan, performed bhumi-poojan of 192 residential units in village Limbodi at a cost of 18 crores and Aravali complex (Bhuri Tekri), Gulmarg complex (Kanadia), Palash complex 01 (Rau Silicon City) and Palash complex 02 (Nihalpurmundi Omex Hills) construction works of residential units at a cost of 220 crores were dedicated. Chief Minister Chouhan said that land costing 18 thousand crores has been made free in the entire state from the possession of land mafia. Houses will be built for the poor on the free land. Now no poor should remain without housing, for this, the state government will get the government lands free from encroachment by running a continuous campaign.

Units improving air quality honoured

A campaign is being conducted on a war footing to improve the air quality of Indore city. As a result of this campaign, valuable efforts have been made by various organisations for the improvement of air quality. Under this, Chief Minister Chouhan honoured the Amber Industries of the district for converting the boiler installed in the factory premises into CNG and converting of fully traditional fuel to LPG by 56 Dukan, Scheme 140 and Meghdoot Chowpatty, the major commercial food hub of the city.

Indore city has raised its flag in the field of cleanliness for five consecutive times across the country. Now to become number one for the 6th time, various works have been started jointly by the district administration and the Indore Municipal Corporation along with innovations. In coordination with Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Regional Transport Office, Industrial Institutions, Traffic Department, Food and Drug Administration, Transport Association etc., various works are being done to improve the air quality of the city – Window to News
