CM Chouhan gifts construction works worth Rs 10 crores to Durgapur

All announcements made in Jandarshan in Raigaon area will be fulfilled
Benefits in various schemes distributed in Durgapur, a remote village of Satna district
Dam will be built on Imraha drain
 
Bhopal 29 January 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached remote tribal dominated village Durgapur in Satna district on Saturday. He offered prayers at Thakur Dev ka Chabootara and met the women of self-help groups and Ladli Laxmis. Chief Minister Chouhan went to the house of tribal Kalyan Singh and had traditional Bagheli food. Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated construction works costing Rs. 10 crore 73 lakhs at the Hitgrahi Sammelan organized in Durgapur village. In the beginning of the programme, he also performed kanya-pujan.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that no stone will remain unturned in the development of Raigaon area. All the announcements made during the jandarshan will be fulfilled. Our government will return the love given by the people of Durgapur with interest in the form of development works in the area. A dam will be built on the Imraha drain for the development of agriculture in the village. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Collector and DFO should work together to find a way out related to the 35 hectares of forest land that would come under submergence due to dam construction. A dam will be built here by giving revenue land instead of forest land. To solve the problem of drinking water in the village, water from Bansagar will be taken to Durgapur in Phase-2 of ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’. Every house will get pure tap water. Chief Minister Chouhan said that two rooms would be constructed in Thakur Baba’s temple and Kali Devi temple. Solar power plant can also be considered on the vacant land near Durgapur.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that due to vaccinations and precautionary measures taken against Corona infection, there has not been much harm in the third wave. Everyone must get the Corona vaccine and also take precautions. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has saved all of us from a crisis by giving free vaccines. Chief Minister Chouhan directed that after celebrating the Anna-Utsav on the 7th of every month, food grains should be distributed to ration card holders. Those who commit irregularities in the distribution of food grains should be sent to jail. Collectors should regularly monitor all ration shops.

Chief Minister Chouhan directed to get the fair price shop of Dureha and the construction works done by the Gram Panchayat checked. The Superintending Engineer Electricity Board was instructed to install transformers as per requirement after surveyin Durgapur,
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Swa-rozgar Diwas would be celebrated every month to promote self-employment. Self-help groups will be given the task of making clothes for school children and preparing nutritious food. Chief Minister Chouhan said that 574 families of Durgapur and nearby villages are rearing goats. Collectors should provide the benefit of loans and grants from banks to strengthen their businesses. The eligible families, who have been deprived of the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, should be given the benefit of the scheme by conducting a survey in the Awas Plus scheme.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that every village should make a plan for the development of their village by celebrating Gram Diwas once in a year.
Chief Minister Chouhan distributed benefits under Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, women self-help groups and other schemes. Member of Parliament Ganesh Singh said that today is a day of pride for this region. Chief Minister Chouhan has gifted 34 construction works to Durgapur and the surrounding area. The MP suggested to publish the names of the beneficiaries benefitted from various schemes in each Gram Panchayat. Forest Minister and district in-charge Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development Ramkhelawan Patel along with public representatives, officers and villagers were present.

Floral tributes paid to Late Kantidev Singh Judev

Chief Minister Chouhan visited MLA Nagendra Singh's ancestral residence in Nagda and paid homage to his younger brother Late Kantidev Singh Judev. Chief Minister Chouhan met the family members of Singh and consoled them. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Late Kantidev Singh lived a glorious life. He always considered the service of the poor and weaker sections as his religion. The family of MLA Nagendra Singh is an ideal family, where everyone is living together.
