Gwalior Got Three New Gifts

Bhopal 22 February 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today dedicated the new District Panchayat Bhawan, Samyukta Rajasva Bhawan and Veer Savarkar Sarovar Katora Tal in Gwalior through video conference from the Chief Minister's residence. The combined cost of all these works is about Rs 75 crore. Congratulating the citizens of Gwalior, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government is active for the development of Gwalior. This city will not be second to anyone in the race for development. Gwalior has its own history. From classical music there are other rich cultural traditions. The heritage of Gwalior will be continuously enhanced.

Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia, State Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Minister of State for Horticulture and Food Processing Bharat Singh Kushwaha and Water Resources and Fishermen-Welfare and Fisheries Development Minister Tulsi Silawat were present in the inaugural programme in Gwalior. Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput also participated virtually in the programme.

Will make wonderful Gwalior, celebrate Gaurav Diwas of every village and city

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Gwalior has got three new gifts today. The development work of Gwalior is being done with the help of the central leadership. Together we will make a wonderful Gwalior. Gwalior Gaurav Diwas will also happen soon. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the celebration of Gaurav Diwas of villages and cities in the state has already started from village Jait of Sehore district. This sequence will also take place soon. The purpose of celebrating the birthday or Gaurav Diwas of a village or city is that all citizens should be active and sensitive for the development of their village and city. Efforts should be made that the distinguished personalities of the region should also be present in the glory day.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a prosperous, magnificent and glorious India is being built under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Amrit Kaal of Independence. This Amrit Kaal is for the whole country. This is also the golden period of Gwalior's development. Special initiative has been taken for the development of Gwalior due to the efforts of the Central and State Governments

Gwalior is being benefitted by the activism of central ministers

Chief Minister Chouhan said that with the cooperation of Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, we are witnessing a golden period of development of Gwalior. While Civil Aviation Minister Scindia formulated the Drone Policy, Union Agriculture Minister Tomar has stepped up efforts for the use of Drones in agriculture. Agriculture is creating new records in Madhya Pradesh. The country is getting the benefit of air connectivity. All this is the result of the dedication of both the Union Ministers. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Gwalior region is getting benefits of Chambal water, elevated corridor, construction of buildings, quality roads, clean drinking water, implementation of poor welfare schemes. The three new facilities launched today have been made possible by the vigilant, active role of Union Ministers and local public representatives. MP Vivek Shejwalkar also addressed the programme.

Gwalior got gifts

Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the Zila Panchayat Bhawan constructed at a cost of Rs. 3 crore 71 lakh, Samyukta Rajasva Bhawan costing Rs. 65 crore and Veer Savarkar Sarovar at a cost of Rs. 5 crore 75 lakh. Veer Savarkar Sarovar has been renovated as well as beautified. Along with the office of the Divisional Commissioner, the Commissioner's Land Records Office will also operate in the new Samyukta Rajasva Bhawan of Gwalior. With the commencement of the new Zilla Panchayat Bhawan, the general public will get the facility. Veer Savarkar Sarovar (Katoratal) has been renovated and its appearance has been changed. In this a glimpse of the historical splendour of Gwalior will be visible. A musical fountain has also been established here. There will also be a laser-show which will present a glimpse of the new Gwalior along with the ancient and historical splendour of Gwalior.
