Madhya Pradesh has set a new example of public participation
Bhagwan Bholenath will bless us all¨: Chief Minister Chouhan
Amazing public enthusiasm was noticed after recovering from despair after Corona period
Record has given a feeling of pride in the people
Bhopal 02 March 2022: Madhya Pradesh has made a new record through public participation. Although Madhya Pradesh is at the forefront of many schemes in the country, but in Mahakal Ujjain, lakhs of lamps were lit last evening adding a new record in the history of the state. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan became a witness to this. A new radiance was visible on the faces of millions of people from this achievement. A sense of pride is being felt among the people due to the record made in Ujjain city. Chief Minister Chouhan has considered this record as the grace of Bhagwan Bholenath. It is being considered as a unique example of devotion for Lord Shiva. Along with this, it is also considered a wonderful event of public participation.
Madhya Pradesh is the center for devotees in the country
Ujjain situated on the holy bank of river Kshipra in Madhya Pradesh has its own importance. Ram Raja’s city Orchha, Jyotirling Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Pitambara Mai’s city Datia, Sharda Mata Maihar, Salkanpur Wali Maiya and so many places of religious, spiritual importance has made Madhya Pradesh a hub for devotees not only of Madhya Pradesh but also in the country.
Enthusiasm of citizens of Ujjain
This city is recognized for organising Simhastha in Ujjain every 12 years. The rule of Vikramaditya ji is remembered even today. In this Ujjain city, the enthusiasm of the volunteers involved in the creation of the record was seen on the evening of March 1, when the earthen lamps lit from house to house including the ghats of the river Kshipra on the festival of Mahashivratri were tying a new record on the forehead of Ujjain. The enthusiasm of the citizens of Ujjain was worth seeing on Ramghat, Guru Nanak Ghat, Narsingh Ghat and other ghats.
When Narmada met Kshipra
Due to the efforts of Chief Minister Chouhan, the water of Narmada ji, the lifeline of the state, was brought in the Kshipra river during the last Simhastha. The old ghats were renovated and new ghats were built. Special lighting arrangements were made and since then the loveliness of the holy city of Ujjain appears distinct on major festivals. But on March 1, the scene was completely different. Chief Minister Chouhan has said that along with Kshipra, water should always remain in Rudrasagar etc. Cleanliness, beautification and devotees should get all facilities. The environment near Ujjain's Shraddha Kendras should remain pure, spiritual and fill the heart with a feeling of satisfaction.
End of the despair of the corona period
If we understand the psychology of public enthusiasm displayed in Ujjain, then the desire of the people to end the despair of the Corona period is seen with the task of lighting earthen lamps from house to house and illuminating all the Ghats with earthen lamps. Public participation seems logical from this point of view. Citizens who have spent 2 years with all the restrictions now want to bring the same old enthusiasm, zeal and happiness in their daily routine and lifestyle. This sentiment of the common man has got expression through the campaign to light lakhs of diyas in Ujjain on March 1 – Window to News
