Ladli Laxmi Will Be Given a Lump Sum Amount of 25 Thousand Rupees on Admission in College
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that dearness allowance to government officers and employees will be given at the rate of 31 percent from the month of April. Chief Minister Chouhan said that a lump sum assistance of Rs. 25 thousand would be given to the girl beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojana on taking admission in the college. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a programme organised on his birthday at Barh Wale Ganesh Mandir at Vidisha district headquarters today.
Chief Minister Chouhan reached Vidisha along with his wife Sadhana Singh on his birthday today, offered prayers at Badh Wale Ganesh temple and made offerings by participating in the ongoing Havan Yagya in the temple premises. He also served bhojan prasadi to the religious followers who were taking bhojan prasadi in the bhandara at the temple. During this he also communicated with them.
Chief Minister Chouhan planted a sapling of Rudraksha in the temple premises and appealed to the general public to plant saplings on their birthdays. He said that green trees and plants are essential for human life. Therefore, every person should not only plant saplings but also take initiative to keep the plants safe. The Chief Minister said that trees serve to give life to everyone including humans.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government belongs to the poor and farmers. Schemes are being run for the welfare of the poor.
Blessings taken from Sadhus and saints
The Sadhus and saints who visited the temple in the birthday programme blessed Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan by offering flower garlands. Public representatives and dignitaries also extended birthday wishes to Chief Minister Chouhan.
Expressed gratitude to blood donors
Chief Minister Chouhan has expressed gratitude to all the citizens who donated 371 units of blood on his birthday. He said that there is no religion greater than doing good to others and if we donate blood to save lives, then what can be a greater donation than this.
Student Srishti who returned from Ukraine extended birthday greetings
