Bhopal 15 March 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that no stone will be left unturned in the development of Thandla. Rs one crore will be given for the development of Thandla. Every village and every house will be provided clean drinking water through tap connections by laying pipelines from Jal Jeevan Mission in the villages of Jhabua district. Women of these villages will not have to fill water from hand pumps. For this, a provision of Rs 550 crore has been made in the mission.

Chief Minister Chouhan reached Thandla in Jhabua district on Tuesday to attend Bhagoria festival, a traditional folk festival of the tribal community. He was accompanied by his wife, Sadhana Singh Chouhan. With due honour to the tribal traditions, Chief Minister Chouhan fully clothed himself in the traditional costumes of the forest dwellers. Chief Minister Chouhan also took part in Bhagoria’s Gair from Krishi Upaj Mandi to Civil Hospital. A large number of villagers danced to the tune of the dhol duing the Bhagoria festival. Chief Minister Chouhan was welcomed everywhere. Flowers were showered on the convoy by the tribal community. Chief Minister Chouhan also interacted with the villagers from the welcome stage built near the Civil Hospital.

CM Rise School will be opened in Thandla- CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Chouhan said that due to Corona, Bhagoria festival could not be celebrated properly in the last two years. He said that this year the festivals of Bhagoria, Holi must be celebrated with much pomp, and Gair must be taken out. Now Corona is completely under control. He said that today their mama had come in their midst to celebrate Bhagoria festival. Madhya Pradesh government is there only to bring happiness in your life. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Thandla should move forward, Jhabua should move forward, to ensure which no stone will be left unturned to remove all the difficulties and sufferings of the citizens. CM Rise School will be opened in Thandla. The Narmada water has come up to Alirajpur district. Soon it will also reach Jhabua district. The Chief Minister also extended best wishes to the villagers present on the occasion of Bhagoria and Holi festival.

Chief Minister Chouhan and Sadhana Singh also performed traditional dance with the tribal artists at Bhagoria on the beat of Dhol and Mandal.
