Bhopal 22 March 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that I will dig up the houses of goons and anti-social elements and raze down their houses. Mama’s bulldozer has started working and will not stop now till he fixes up goons and rogues. He warned all anti-social elements in a strict tone to stop persecuting the poor and the weak or leave Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the villagers after meeting family members of Raju Dhurve, who died in the recent dispute in Khamaria village of Silvani tehsil of Raisen district and expressing his condolences at Chandrapura. Health Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary and Regional MLA Rampal Singh were also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that every atrocity against the poor and tribal people would be strictly stopped and strict action would be taken against the perpetrators. He mentioned that once upon a time he had said that he would eliminate dacoits in the state and today there is not a single dacoit in the state.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that his bulldozer is running in the entire state. Be it Seoni, Sheopur, Shahdol or Jaora, the houses of goons and rogues have been razed everywhere. He assured the tribal community that the entire government and he himself was with them. Instructions have been given to the officers to strictly stop all kinds of illegal business by conducting searches.
Chief Minister Chouhan made it clear that the people affected by the incident could have been given assistance from Bhopal, but I have come to Chandrapura only so that the miscreants should get a warning that they will not be spared by the government.
Government responsible for late Raju’s family
Chief Minister Chouhan went to the house of Late Raju Dhurve, who lost his life in a dispute and presented an ex-gratia cheque of Rs. 5 lakh to his wife Smt. Maya Bai. The Chief Minister also met his parents and the entire family. Chief Minister Chouhan also handed over the acceptance letters of two houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to the father and brother of the deceased as assistance. He said that the three children of the deceased would be given Rs 2,000 per month and his wife would be linked to self-employment.
Pratapgarh Tappa will become tehsil and forest rights leases will be given
Chief Minister Chouhan said that now the villagers will not have to go far with their problems. Nearest Pratapgarh Tappa will be made a tehsil. He said that forest rights leases should be surveyed again and if any lease holders prior to the year 2006 have been left out, then they should be given a lease.
Roti-kapda-makan is everyone’s right
Chief Minister Chouhan said that everyone has the right to roti-kapda-makan (food, cloth and house). Pucca houses will be given to the poor after conducting a survey of the entire area. Ration will be provided. The benefit of the Mukhyamantri Bhu-awasiya Yojana will also be given. Appreciating the organisation of public welfare camps, the Chief Minister said that every poor should be benefitted from the schemes of the government. He directed the District Panchayat CEO to form self-help groups in the area. New jobs and means of livelihoods should be provided. It should be ensured that children get scholarship for studies.
The lives of the poor has to be changed
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the lives of the poor have to be changed. Cultivate crops that give more income. Water should be made available in every household through Jal Jeevan Mission. Also develop water sources and conserve water. He said that it is necessary to make arrangements for irrigation along with drinking water. Build new water structures for this. Build stop dams on rivers and streams. He said that no one should feel helpless under our government. This is the government of the poor and always stands with them.
Chief Minister Chouhan gave assistance amount of Rs. 2 lakh each to the seriously injured and Rs. 50 thousand each to those who received minor injuries. He said that free treatment has been arranged for all the injured. Earlier, MLA Rampal Singh mentioned the achievements of the government and praised the kindness of the Chief Minister.
Planted sapling in the residence premises of deceased Raju
Chief Minister Chouhan reached the residence of Late Raju in the village. He consoled the family members and planted a mango sapling in the memory of Late Raju in the residence premises.
