Bhopal 23 March 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the government is committed for development and public welfare. Food, clothing, shelter, education, medicine and employment will be ensured for the poor. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Lok Kalyan Diwas organized at Chhola Road, Chandbari today. The programme was organized on the successful completion of two years of Chief Minister Chouhan’s the fourth term.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that two years ago, on this day, March 23, I took oath as Chief Minister. These two years have been difficult. The Medical Education Minister did a commendable job in the fight against Covid. Chief Minister Chouhan thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making Corona vaccine available free of cost. He said that children of 12 to 18 years who have not been able to get the vaccine, must get it.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that he would leave no stone unturned in the works of public welfare. Wheat and rice are being provided to the poor at Re 1 per kg. FIR will be registered against those who mess with the ration of the poor and the guilty will be sent to jail. Pucca houses and Ayushman cards are being made for all the poor. CM Rise Schools are being opened all over the state for which an amount has been approved at the rate of Rs 24 crore per school.
The state government will pay the fees for medical, engineering studies of poor children. Medical and engineering studies are being started in Hindi also.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that electricity bills for the Corona period will be paid by the state government for which a provision of Rs 6 thousand crore has been made. Capital punishment has been enacted for rapists. Those who commit atrocities on the poor will not be spared. Chief Minister Chouhan said that 21 thousand hectares of land in the state has been freed from goons and miscreants. We will provide pattas to the poor.

Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said that Chief Minister Chouhan has changed the fate and picture of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Chouhan is working persistently towards a self-reliant and golden Madhya Pradesh. He is working to bring the state out of the category of backward states of the country and taking it on the path of development. He said that he has been working on the state’s development continuously for the first 15 years and now in his fourth term for the last two years. To eliminate the disease of Corona, free vaccine has been given to all. The previous government had stopped the Sambal Yojana which Chouhan started again. Electricity bills released during Corona period have been waived. Chief Minister Chouhan has brought water of Narmada from door to door. Many development works have also been undertaken in Narela assembly. Sarang placed a demand letter for the restoration of Khedapati Hanuman temple and development of the area before Chief Minister Chouhan. The Chief Minister assured to fulfill various demands for the restoration of Khedapati Hanuman temple and development of Narela Vidhan Sabha. The Chief Minister also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes.

MP V.D. Sharma said that today is an important day for Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Chouhan has changed the lives of all sections. He is committed to the welfare of the poor and to give them their rights. Along with Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Chouhan will arrange for griha pravesh of 5 lakh 5 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on the coming March 28.

Chief Minister Chouhan was honored for making the provision to waive off the outstanding electricity bills of the Corona period in the programme. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp at Bharat Mata’s portrait. Pictures of Khedapati Hanuman, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev ji were garlanded.
