CM reviews preparations for marriage programme to be held in Nasrullaganj
Bhopal 20 April 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah Yojana is being relaunched from April 21. The first event of the scheme will be held at Nasrullaganj in Sehore. The programme should be organized in such a way that it becomes a model for the entire state. Adequate electrical decoration should also be made in the city for the event. Public participation should also be encouraged in the programme along with the administrative system. Government officials, public representatives and people of the society should be involved emotionally in the event. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the cheques to be provided under the Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah Yojana should be given in the name of only daughters. Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for organizing Nasrullaganj marriage in Sehore district on April 21 through video conferencing from the residence office.
It was informed in the meeting that so far 461 couples have been registered for the mass marriage programme to be held in Nasrullaganj. Employees organizations along with social organizations are also actively participating in the event. Chief Minister Chouhan also sought information regarding the materials to be given as a gift under the scheme, arrangements for lodging of the families of bride and groom and arrangements for procession etc – Window to News
