CM Chouhan Planted Saplings with Family Members and Environment Lovers on World Environment Day

Bhopal 05 June 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today planted saplings in the Smart City Garden along with his family members, environment lovers and social workers on the occasion of World Environment Day. Chief Minister Chouhan along with wife Sadhna Singh, son Kartikeya Singh and Kunal Singh planted Banyan, Peepal and Neem saplings. Chief Minister Chouhan and his family members, along with environment lovers and social workers, planted 15 saplings of Neem, 9 of Peepal, 9 of Saptaparni, 8 of Kachnar, 6 of Karanj, 5 of Harsingar, 3 of Badam and one sapling each of Kadamba and Mango was planted. On World Environment Day, 63 saplings were planted in Bhopal along with about 20 organisations working in the field of environmental protection and sanitation.

Chief Minister Chouhan planted a Peepal sapling along with Jinika Parmar, a class one student of Sehore. Senior citizen Chandrasekaran was keen on planting a sapling in the name of his Singapore-born grandson and had brought a mango sapling with him.
