Madhya Pradesh will get full cooperation in health and medical sector

Bhopal 19 June 2022: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the latter’s residence this evening. Discussion was held in the meeting regarding the health and medical sector of Madhya Pradesh. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang and Health Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary were also present.

Union Health Minister Mandaviya informed about the initiatives taken to streamline the schedule of meetings and events, use of digital platforms to improve the functioning of the departments. He said that full cooperation would be extended to Madhya Pradesh in the field of health and medicine.

Interim report of Madhya Pradesh on Ayushman Bharat scheme ready

Chief Minister Chouhan told the Union Health Minister Mandaviya that discussions and meetings are held regularly in Madhya Pradesh in connection with administrative reforms and good governance. A special Chintan meeting was held in Pachmarhi. Madhya Pradesh remains active in implementing the ideas of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Chouhan informed that Madhya Pradesh has compiled important suggestions related to Ayushman Bharat Yojana after the CM Conclave held in Varanasi. Its detailed report has been prepared which will be submitted to the central government soon. Union Minister Mandaviya said that you are invited for the presentation related to this report. Chief Minister Chouhan also informed the Union Health Minister about the concessions being given for the construction of hospitals in tribal-dominated areas of Madhya Pradesh and the plan to establish new medical colleges.
