Water Resources Minister Dr. Mishra inaugurates Nal-Jal Yojana
Bhopal: Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Dr. Narottam Mishra today laid the foundation of Rs 70 crore group tap water schemes at Sitapur and Malakpahadi villages in Datia district. Dr. Mishra said on the occasion that the group tap water schemes are being launched to rid the women of the villages from the problem of filling water from wells and hand pumps. Once the schemes are complete, tap water will be available in the every house. The PR Minister said that through this yojana, water will be brought from Sindh river and supplied to 61 villages at a cost of Rs 70 crore.
PR Minister Dr. Mishra said that now we will develop smart villages on the lines of smart city. Now farmers are also being given discount on principal amount. Government will take back only Rs 90 against Rs 100. He took information related to crop insurance payment from farmers. The PR Minister appealed to the farmers to get their crops insured.
Dr. Mishra granted financial aid of Rs 25,000 to Murera resident Harisingh Yadav for his daughter Hema’s marriage under Mukhya Mantri Nirman Shramik Yojana.-WTN
