MP awarded for maximum agriculture production and integrated development

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh has bagged two awards in the agriculture sector for maximum production and integrated development of agriculture in state. Union Agriculture Minister Radhamohan Singh honoured Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Gaurishankar Bisen with the award at a programme organized in Pusa. A symposium was also organized on ‘Can we actually double the income of farmers by 2022 ? ’at Pusa Agro-Summit 2017. Agriculture Experts and Agriculture Scientists etc expressed their views at the symposium.
After accepting the award Agriculture Minister Gaurishankar Bisen said that since the last four years the Agriculture Development Rate of Madhya Pradesh is more than 20 per cent. Bisem gave its credit to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s leadership, his schemes, farmers’ hard work and agriculture scientists.-WTN
