Purchase of Moong, Urad and Tuar on support price continues in state

Bhopal: The purchase of Moong, Urad and Tuar on support price continues in state. So far 608685.16 quintal moong, 85738.13 quintal urad and 70905 quintal tuar has been purchased till today evening.
4766840.29 quintal onion purchased
So far 4766840.29 quintal onions have been purchased from onion purchase centres in state till today evening. It may be noted that state government is purchasing onions at the rate of Rs 8 per kg to ensure that the farmers of the state get a fair price for their produce.
Maximum Moong and Urad purchase today
The purchase of Moong and Urad on support price has been maximum today evening ever since the process of purchase started on June 10. Today 19 thousand 452 metric ton moong has been purchased. This is 33 per cent of the purchase made so far. Similarly, today 2363 metric ton urad has been purchased which is 33 per cent of the total urad purchased on support price so far.
As per information so far 107391 metric ton pulses have been purchased on support price so far. These crops include Moong, Urad, Tuar and Masoor.-WTN
