National Security Act implementation is an ongoing process

Bhopal: In connection with the news related to implementation of National Security Act (NSA) in State from July 1, state government has clarified that implementing NSA is an ongoing process.

According to Additional Chief Secretary Home K.K. Singh under the powers provided in National Security Act 1980 Sub Section – 3 of Section -3 by State Home Department delegated the powers every three months to the District Magistrates to take legal action under their jurisdiction against any anti-social elements who disrupt communal harmony or public arrangement or are active in activities that can adversely affect the state’s security.

In this order the powers have been delegated to them for the coming three months from July 1, 2017 to September 30, 2017. This is an ongoing and general process which is adopted in every three months every year.-WTN
