Online applications invited for Central Sector Scholarship till September 30

Bhopal: Registration and online applications for Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship has begun from July 1. The applications will be invited till September 30.

Students of M.P Board who passed in the 12th Higher Secondary School Examination, for the year 2017-18 with top 20 percentile marks can only apply online for the new scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal. 4299 students of Madhya Pradesh have been selected under the scholarship scheme. The scholarship fixed is 50 per cent for girls and 50 per cent for boys. 2150 students in the science faculty, 1433 in Commerce and 716 in Arts faculty will be given scholarships. 15 per cent of the scholarship will be for scheduled caste, 7.5 per cent for scheduled tribe, 27 per cent for other Backward Classes and 3 per cent for disabled students.

Aadhar number is mandatory for the scholarship. Directions related to scholarship are available on the website http://www.aadharcarduidai.in/aadhar-card-apply-online-offline and on http://www.scholarships.gov.in . Students can apply online on the National Scholarship Portal.-WTN
