Virtual Class Rooms in 148 Government Schools of State

Bhopal: Virtual Class Room scheme is being conducted to teach students pursuing study in government schools through subject experts. The scheme is being conducted in 148 government schools at present.

Under the Virtual Class room scheme, subject expert teachers were selected as Tele Teachers and training was imparted to them in Administration Academy through State Education Center. Moreover, under the scheme, students are being taught difficult subjects every month according to the time table. Teaching through virtual classes is being conducted through bilateral video system.

Bridge course was undertaken for class 9th during the last academic session 2016-17 through virtual classes. In August 2016, Math, Science, English, Social Science, Sanskrit, and Hindi subjects of class 9 and 10 and Chemistry, Physics, Math, Zoology, English and Commerce subjects of class 11 and 12 were taught to the students through virtual classes. Moreover English spoken classes for students were conducted through virtual class room last year. An amount of Rs. 20 thousand was released to each Principal of selected school to maintain virtual class rooms by the School Education department.-WTN
