Farmers will get free copy of Khasra-Khatouni from August 15

Bhopal: Farmers will be given free copies of Khasra-Khatouni as per declaration of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. This arrangement will begin from August 15. Collectors have been given instructions to provide duplicate copies of Khasra-Khatouni to all farmers by October 2.
Revenue, Science and Technology Minister Umashankar Gupta gave the information that budget has been allotted to all districts for this work. He said that in the districts with N.I.C. software implementation, the copy will be released with the signature of the tehsildar. Districts with web-based G.I.S application implementation will get copies with digital signature. The process will be monitored by Commissioner Land Records and Bandobast. The farmers will have to give the acknowledgement of the copy received. The concerned gram sarpanch will have to sign the register.-WTN
