Conduct Wide Publicity of Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana: CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that large scale publicity should be conducted for Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana. Information should reach all the eligible students. Chouhan was reviewing the Technical Education Department. Minister of State for Technical Education and Skill Development (Independent Charge) Deepak Joshi was present on the occasion.

CM Chouhan apprised himself about the progress of the scheme. He was informed that over 10 thousand students have been admitted in the educational institutions under the scheme. Their fee will be borne by the state government. About 11 thousand students have registered themselves under the scheme. Over 24 thousand students have visited the website. Registration work is in progress continuously. Fee of such eligible students who have already deposited fee in the educational institutions is being reimbursed by the government.

Moreover, Chouhan also gathered information on progress of Global Skill Park’s construction. He mentioned that construction work should be completed within stipulated time frame. Chouhan also apprised himself about I.T.I. Chalo Abhiyan. He was informed that students more than the target have taken admissions during the campaign. A total of 5 lakh 40 thousand students have taken admissions in the institute during the campaign against a target of 5 lakh.

CM Chouhan was informed that registration work is being carried out speedily under the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana. Bhopal is leading in registration till date followed by Dewas, Indore and Balaghat districts. Registration is going on continuously. Moreover, it was informed that 95 meritorious students in Agar Malwa, 12 in Alirajpur, 47 in Anuppur, 93 in Ashok Nagar, 138 in Badwani, 436 in Balaghat, 196 in Betul, 97 in Bhind, 681 in Bhopal, 187 in Burhanpur, 152 in Chhatarpur, 234 in Chhindwara, 254 in Damoh, 50 in Datia, 614 in Dewas, 207 in Dhar, 38 in Dindori, 168 in Guna, 280 in Gwalior, 73 in Harda, 286 in Hoshangabad, 571in Indore, 377 in Jabalpur, 69 in Jhabua, 133 in Katni, 475 in Khandwa, 324 in Khargone, 64 in Mandla, 455 in Mandsaur, 119 in Morena, 284 in Narsingarh, 193 in Neemuch, 71 in Panna, 231 in Raisen, 262 in Rajgarh, 101 in Ratlam, 267 in Rewa, 296 in Sagar, 284 in Satna, 411 in Sehore, 133 in Seoni, 111 in Shahdol, 215 in Shajapur, 27 in Sheopur, 77 in Shivpuri, 89 in Sidhi, 35 in Singrauli, 124 in Tikamgarh, 427 in Ujjain, 80 in Umaria and 225 in Vidisha have got themselves registered under the scheme.
