Infrastructure work on priority in tribal districts

Bhopal: Farmer-Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Gaurishankar Bisen said that infrastructure work is being carried out in tribal dominated district on priority basis. Minister Bisen was performing bhoomi-pujan of a bridge being constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore 8 lakhs at Jaraji village in Kiranapur development block in Balaghat district on Monday.

Bisen instructed to complete the construction of the bridge on time and with good quality. Minister Bisen stressed on farmers adopting organic farming to maintain fertility of the soil. He said that there is great demand for grains from bio-fertilizers.

District Cooperative Central Bank President Rajkumar Raizada and local public representatives were also present during the programme. Bisen dedicated the new High School building at Sivni village (Sarad). He said that children going to government school are being given free uniforms and textbooks.-WTN
