More Than Normal Rains in 4 Districts till Date

Low Rainfall in 20 Districts and Scanty Rains in 2 Districts Registered
Bhopal: More than normal rainfall has been registered in 4 districts of the state namely Rewa, Bhind, Ashok Nagar and Datia. According to the information received from Deputy Relief Commissioner, normal rainfall in 25 districts, low rains in 20 district and scanty rains in 2 districts have been registered from June 1 to July 11.
Low rainfall has been registered in Balaghat, Dindori, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Shahdol, Anuppur, Khargone, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dewas, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Guna, Bhopal, Rajgarh, Hoshangabad, Harda and Betul whereas scanty rainfall has been registered in Singrauli and Agar-Malwa.
Normal rainfall has been registered in Jabalpur, Katni, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Panna, Tikamgarh, Sidhi, Satna, Umaria, Indore, Dhar, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Badwani, Khandwa, Neemuch, Shajapur, Morena, Gwalior, Sehore, Raisen and Vidisha.
The water level of main rivers and reservoirs is below the danger level during this rainy season. Therefore, gates of any dam have not been opened till date.-WTN
