State Advisory Group Constituted for DBT Monitoring

Bhopal: The State Government has constituted a State Advisory Group at State Level for monitoring of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under schemes implemented by the Government of India. Additional Chief Secretary Finance has been made Chairman of the group. The group will update information on portal regarding progress of DBT in the state every month.
Additional Chief Secretary Planning -Statistics and Scheduled Caste Welfare, Principal Secretaries Public Health and Family Welfare, Women and Child Development, Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development, Animal Husbandry, Urban Development and Environment, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Food and Civil Supplies, Social Justice and Disabled Persons Welfare, Panchayat and Rural Development, Backward Class and Minorities Welfare and School Education have been made members of the group. In addition to this, Managing Director SEDC, representatives of- World Bank, Postal, State Level Bank Committee, BSNL,NPCI have also been made members of the state advisory group. Commissioner Institutional Finance has been nominated as State DBT Coordinator.
The State Advisory Group will monitor DBT establishing coordination with the concerned ministries of the Government of India. The group will also provide solutions to eliminate problems faced during implementation of schemes besides coordination with the state government’s departments, agencies and stake holders.
Moreover, the State Advisory Group has been entrusted with the responsibility to review works of State Project Management Unit, District Project Unit and Human Resources.-WTN
