Meeting of School Management Committees on July 15

Bhopal: Meeting of School Management Committees will be held in all the Government Schools and Government Aided Schools on July 15. Directives have been issued by the State Education Center to all the District Collectors in this regard.

Management committees have been formed in over One lakh 14 thousand primary and middle schools of the state. Two years tenure has been fixed for these committees. These school management committees have been formed to ensure better management and implementation of academic activities in all the primary and middle schools

These school management committees will contribute in children’s enrolment in school, regular presence, qualitative education, infrastructure works and multidimensional development of students. Parents, Head Master, Senior most Lady Teacher, Panch of local ward and one woman Panch of the ward have been included in the School Management Committee. These committees have been entrusted with the rights of local management of schools. Committees comprising 18 and 16 members have been formed in primary schools and middle schools respectively. The School Education Department has urged all the members of the committees and parents to attend School Management Committees’ meeting on July 15.-WTN
