Police Vehicles to have Multicoloured Red-Blue and White Beacon

Bhopal: The government has approved use of multicoloured Red, Blue and White beacon by police vehicles on office duty in a notification issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. An order in this regard has been issued by the Transport department of the State Government.

Now, multicoloured Red, Blue and White beacon will be used on vehicles under ‘Dial 100’, engaged in law and order system, police stations and vehicles of City Police Superintendents/ SDOs (Police)/ Additional Superintendents of Police, Superintendents of Police, DIGs Police of range and Zonal Inspector General of Police. It is mandatory to display security water mark paper sticker issued by the transport department in the prescribed format on windscreen of these vehicles.-WTN
