Women’s Commission unites three families

Bhopal: Three couples today took the decision to reunite, shedding all differences after a hearing at the State Women’s Commission. On the contrary a couple sought 15 day’s time. In the joint bench of the Commission chaired by Smt. Lata Wankhede, 30 cases were heard today. Most of the cases were of family disputes and dowry harassment. Smt. Ganga Uike, Smt. Anju Singh Baghel, Smt. Surya Chouhan, Smt. Pramila Vajpayee and Smt. Sandhya Suman Rai were present during the hearing.
State Women’s Commission began its second phase of hearing in Bhopal today. In the first phase, the Women’s Commission heard more than 7,000 cases through joint bench in all 51 districts of the state. Cases will be heard in Bhopal on July 18 also. Later cases will be heard on July 27 at Betul, July 28 at Hoshangabad and July 29 at Harda. The next bench in Bhopal will be on July 31 and August 1.-WTN
