Amount for Repair Works in 1708 Primary and 662 Middle Schools Released

New Buildings of 414 Primary and 99 Middle Schools to be Constructed
Bhopal: An amount of Rs. 11 crore 70 lakh 72 thousand for repair works of 1708 primary schools buildings and Rs. 5 crore 9 lakh 24 thousand for repair works in middle schools have been allotted by the State Education Centre in the year 2017-18. It may be mentioned that directives to undertake repair works in schools buildings were issued to the concerned officers by the Minister of State for Technical Education (Independent Charge), School Education and Labour Deepak Joshi.
Moreover, an amount of Rs. 41 crore 50 lakh 78 thousand for construction of new buildings in place of dilapidated buildings of 414 primary schools and a sum of Rs. 12 crore 72 lakh 89 thousand towards construction of new buildings in place of dilapidated buildings of 99 middle schools has been sanctioned. Beside these necessary directives for repair works and maintenance of school buildings have been given to the collectors.-WTN
