Girls win silver medal in international junior shotgun competition

Bhopal: Two daughters of Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy - Manisha Kir and Shaifali Rajak - bagged silver medal, representing the country, in trap event of junior girl category in the 9th International Junior Shotgun Cup Competition held in Orimattila, Finland and made the state proud of them. Saumya Gupta of Delhi was also part of Indian team in the event apart from the two daughters of Madhya Pradesh. Indian team secured second position with scoring 168 marks.

Winners met sports minister

Medal winner players met sports and youth welfare minister of the state Smt Yashodhara Raje Scindia at her residence. Sports minister congratulated Manisha Kir and Shaifali Rajak, both the players of shooting academy, appreciating their performance in the international junior shotgun cup. She expressed happiness and said that we are proud of players of your academy. Shotgun trainer of the Shooting Academy Hemraj Rana was present on the occasion.-WTN
