More than Average Rainfall in 9 Districts and Average Rainfall in 34 Districts

Bhopal: As of July 20, twenty percent more than average rainfall has been recorded in 9 districts of Madhya Pradesh during the monsoon season this year. There are 34 districts of the state where average rainfall has been recorded. Moreover, less rainfall has been recorded in 8 districts till date. The 337.7 m.m. average rainfall more than the normal average rainfall 322.7 m.m. has been recorded till date.

Districts where more than the average rainfall has been recorded include Katni, Rewa, Satna, Jhabua, Khandwa, Badwani, Meemuch, Ratlam and Rajgarh. Similarly districts which have recorded average rainfall include Bhopal, Dewas, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Chhatarpur, Sidhi, Singrauli, Umaria, Indore, Dhar, Khargone, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Shajapur, Bhind, Guna, Ashoknagar, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Hoshangabad, Harda, Betul, Alirajpur, Tikamgarh and Datia. Whereas less rainfall has been recorded in Balaghat, Shahdol, Anuppur, Sheopur, Gwalior, Morena, Shivpuri and Agar-Malwa districts.-WTN
