State Women’s Commission becomes model in the country

SWC committees to be formed in other states also on the lines of M.P.
Bhopal: Lauding the works being done by the Madhya Pradesh State Women’s Commission a suggestion to implement it in other states also was given during a two-day seminar on International Human Rights held in Kolkata by the AINNI, an institute affiliated to United Nations Organisations. State Women’s Commission Chairman Smt. Lata Wankhede had given information of the Ayog Sakhi and collaborative committees formed in the districts by the Commission for women empowerment, providing quick justice to women and to assist women at the ground level.
Former Justice of National Human Rights Commission Smt. Jaymala Mukherji, Programme Convenor Henry and members of Women’s Commission of different states of the country, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe Commission, Human Rights Commission and Commission for Protection of Child Rights took part.
Commission Chairman Smt. Lata Wankhede, members Smt. Ganga Uike, Smt. Pramila Vajpayee, Smt. Surya Chouhan, Smt. Sandhya Rai, Smt. Anju Singh Baghel from Madhya Pradesh were present.-WTN
