Farmers Should not be Distracted with Misleading Publicity: Rajnish Vaish
Bhopal: Vice Chairman of Narmada Valley Development Authority and Additional Chief Secretary Rajnish Vaish said that there is no order related to ban on irrigation being carried out by the farmers through their own means from Narmada river. Right to lift water from Narmada river for the farmers remains the same as earlier. He further informed that farmers whose electricity lines are coming under submersion have rights to obtain new electricity connections at new water lifting places for pumps and motors.
Vaish has appealed to the farmers not to be distracted with the misleading publicity and to apprise other farmers about the reality.-WTN
