Order on D.A. of Seventh Pay Scale for Government Employees Issued

Bhopal: The state government has issued an order related to dearness allowance under the sanctioned seventh pay scale for the government employees. The dearness allowance will be calculated on the basis of basic pay scale fixed under the seventh pay scale.
Under the seventh pay scale, the dearness allowance will be payable to the government employees at the rate of zero percent from January -2016 to June-2016, two percent from July-2016 to December -2016 and 4 percent from January -2017.
The state government has issued directives on July 20 and 22 as regard to payment of seventh pay scale to government employees from January -2016. It has been clarified in the orders that any part of the dearness allowance will not be considered in the form of salary for any purpose. Order has also been sent to all the Head of the Departments, Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors by the Finance department.-WTN
