2 Lakh 12 Thousand 370 Metric Tonne Moong Purchased in State

Bhopal: Summer Moong, Urad and Arhar are being purchased on support price from the farmers in the state. Till July 28, 2 lakh 12 thousand 370 metric tonne Moong has already been purchased in the state. An amount of Rs. 506 crore 61 lakh has been paid to One lakh 398 farmers against purchase of moong. Similarly, 35 thousand 839 metric tonne Urad has been purchased from 17 thousand 480 farmers and payment of Rs. 26 crore 51 lakh has been made against purchase of Urad.

Moreover, 26 thousand 932 metric tonne Tuar from 11 thousand 260 farmers has been purchased. Against purchase of Tuar, an amount of Rs. 38 crore 12 lakh has been paid to the farmers. The payment to the farmers for their produces has been made within the stipulated time. Arrangements at large scale have been made in mandis for the convenience of the farmers.-WTN
