NHDC entrusts CM Chouhan with over Rs 374 crore dividend cheque

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was today entrusted with a dividend cheque for the year 2016-17 at his residence by Managing Director of NHDC Limited M.A.G. Ansari.
It was told on the occasion that NHDC Limited is a joint enterprise of Madhya Pradesh government and NHPC Limited. Rs 374 crore 46 lakh 24 thousand is the dividend payable to Madhya Pradesh government in the period under report.
It may be noted that NHDC Limited was established in the year 2000. This is the state’s largest hydro power producer of Madhya Pradesh. Its two projects Indira Sagar project and Omkareshwar project are of 1000 MW and 520 MW respectively.-WTN
