B-1 Announcement to take Place in Every Village from August 15 in State

Bhopal: Chief Secretary B.P. Singh issued directives to the officers that B-1 announcement should be made in all the villages of the state from August 15 this year and villagers should be apprised about the redressal status of the revenue cases. He told revenue officers to hold gram sabhas in this regard. CS Singh was reviewing the redressal of revenue cases in a meeting held at Rewa today. Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Kumar Pandey and Principal Secretary Public Services Hariranjan Rao were present in the meeting.

Singh has told the officials for registering all the revenue cases and to ensure their redressal within stipulated time limit. He mentioned that revenue cases will be reviewed at division level after two months. Moreover, Singh said that a strict action will be taken against the officers/employees in case of pending cases and injustice to the applicants. He further stated that inspection of revenue courts should be carried out by senior controller officer regularly. It has come to the fore in the meeting that maximum number of revenue cases are registered relatively in Rewa division. Keeping in view the same 2 posts of additional commissioner should be made in Commissioner’s office. Directives for recruitment to fill vacant posts of patwaris, nayab tahsildar, tahsildar etc. at the earliest were issued in the meeting. Moreover, instructions were issued to the Collector for recruitment of 800 data entry operators to facilitate computer entries in the revenue court.

CS Singh stated that better management system should be made in record room for redressal of revenue cases. Patwaris who are posted for more than 5 years service in the same patwari halqa should be transferred to other places. Moreover, patwaris who have rendered services for more than 10 years at the same patwari halqa should be transferred to other tahsils. Their bags should be examined regularly.

Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Kumar Pandey has told for complete utilization of machines in demarcation works. Maps related to revenue, digitization of record and other works were reviewed in the meeting. Principal Secretary Hariranjan Rao issued directives for strict action against concerned officers/employees for not redressing complaints received through CM helpline and notified services under the Public Service Guarantee Act within time limit.-WTN
