CS Singh Inspects SDM and Tahsil Courts

Bhopal: Chief Secretary Basant Pratap Singh inspected SDM office of Suhagpur district Shahdol and Suhagpur Tahsil Office till late Thursday night. He also inspected the revenue cases pending at revenue court. Singh expressed anger on finding large number of cases pending for redressal from long time at SDM revenue court, Suhagpur. He issued directives to prepare a list of these revenue cases and to ensure their immediate redressal. During the inspection, Singh retrieved the files kept in the cupboards itself and studied the matter deeply and apprised the commissioner and collector present on the occasion about real status.

Expressing astonishment on finding pending revenue cases since last 17, 12 and 10 years during inspection of SDM court Suhagpur exhibited anger in this matter. He mentioned that a strict action will be taken against the guilty revenue officers now. Collector should take pending cases seriously. Singh further mentioned that FIR should be registered in the cases in which revenue officers and employees have deliberately made mistakes. He also issued instructions to the collectors to ensure sending a report after inspecting all the revenue courts under him within a month.-WTN
